Wings Over Hartford West in West Hartford

2nd time ordering Wings Over here in West Hartford. First time was pretty good but this second time was absolutely atrocious. The chicken was ridiculously dry, that it basically tasted like chicken jerky if that even existed. The flavor this time was not as strong. Order multiple flavors and after eating them I couldn't even taste the difference. Needs to be more consistent.

The best boneless wings ever! I can never get tired of them. I sometimes order from them multiple times a week. Now they have an app and you can get point which would add up and reward you with free food! Who can pass that up!? A little pricey but worth it!

Not sure how this place has almost four stars. The chicken was a bit dry, and the sauces I tried weren't good at all. The honey mustard tasted like bottled honey mustard salad dressing & the jet fuel chicken tasted like it was just drenched in salsa picante hot sauce (I know. I've cooked chicken exactly this way before... spoiler alert: it's bad). If you have ever been to a truly good chicken joint, I think you'll be very disappointed in this place.

Awesome place

Very very small portions for the boneless wings and no celery sticks or carrots come with it...Need to either give bigger portions or go down on the price!

Good place when you're hungry. I prefer sliders, but wings over is good for a quick bite. You won't be disappointed here.

I ordered the seasoned waffle fries. They are pretty good I would order them again, I felt like I waited too long for them though, over ten minutes? I would have thought they'd have something like that made in batches and ready to serve up...Probably will order via phone and then drive over to avoid waiting that long for only fries.

Specialising in bone-in wings and boneless tenders, Wings Over is a chain of counter service restaurants. Most, and this one in particular, have a few seats available; your best bet here is take out, or, if you're in West Hartford or Hartford, delivery. Aviation enthusiasts will get a kick out of the chain's theme, as the walls are decorated with familiar photos of Blue Angel photos, and their menu is similarly aviation themed- portions of their wings, for example, range from "puddle jumper" and "F-16" to"C-5 Galaxy," while their boneless tenders take a similar civilian route. Lastly, and definitely not least, their selections of sauces and flavours is astounding, and having tried them all over the years, I can safely say they're all good. Definitely worth it for wings.

Waited to long for my food plus it wasnt appealing and the fries weren't even hot and they also forgot mayo and a drink.

I had finally got a chance to try wings over I been hearing about it a lot but I was very disappointed with customer services and food.

Never seen such a slow restaurant. Order is scheduled for pickup at 8. Waited 30 minutes and still wasn’t ready. There was no one else picking up but me.

Parking on the street.Place was clean, and the cashier friendly and attentive. He explained the menu a bit when I asked.It took 20 minutes. About what he said it would take.Portions of fries and bacon cheese tots were small. The fries were lightly salted which was OK. I ordered wings plain. The wings unfortunately were not seasoned at all. Wings were big and juicy. Just no flavor. Luckily, I took them home and sprinkled some season on. Definitely good that way. I wish they would season them.Price was OK as well. Just small portion on the sides.

Don’t sauce wings right and make u pay for extra sauce

The wings taste pretty fresh, whether you get the bone-in or boneless wings. Pricing might be a little bit on the expensive side for some people, but you tend to forget that while you're gorging yourself. There are enough sauces and ranges from Mild to Wild to satisfy anybody. They also have some pretty good sides and other entrees available as well. Delivery is good, although we usually do pick up here.

I recommend this place to everyone. I love the chicken here, the sauces, the rubs, the fries, the style right down to the avation themed menu. It's been a delicious experience probably 23/25 times I've been. Most people do order and delivery, but I think eating in is the way to go. WOWH is small so seating is limited. Go here!

TWO HOURS ... two. I ordered my food at 12:30 and by 2:30 I finally called them up (because I went through grubhub and it said it would arrive by 1:50PM but gave them a little longer). First they couldn't find the order. Then she 'magically' finds it and gives me some story about how they had to actually stop doing deliveries because they were so swamped. You, know they made this awesome invention called a phone (or even email) ... how about calling people or emailing them to let them know the food is WAY behind (but even 2 hours is just RIDICULOUS). Never again. I will never again order from this place. And bye the time I actually got my food (3:10PM) ... it was cold, the fries were soggy and it was just awful. Never again. For 15$ a small meal, its just ridiculous.

Online menu is not clear. I dont need to spend time searching thru a online menu for a combo meal. I placed a order spent 40 something dollars with a 10 dollar tip to only get chicken. It shouldn't be hard to get fries with a meal. Will never order from here again

I agree with some of the other comments here . Chicken extremely dry. Really did have the consistency of chicken jerky. Sauce was scant. Taste was subpar. I ordered two sauces, and they were indistinguishable honestly. I paid like $18 bucks for some chicken and some tator tots. Easily the worst money I spent all year.Should've followed my gut and went to BWW.

Do not order their ribs! They were absolutely horrible! If you enjoy a giant piece of chewy fat, then go for it. Fries are not even worth getting. Tasted freezer burned. Terrible food. Go somewhere else

Not what it used to be 10 years ago but still pretty tasty. They used to give larger boneless pieces and more/larger sized fries. They used to use custom tin foil containers which kept the food steaming hot forever untill opened. The current flimsy boxes means your food will be delivered luke warm or worst! Bring back the tin foil for delivery orders and I would order way more often...

I was a worker for Wings and I might add a good employee ,I left due to covid 19, when I order I wanted to use a courtesy card that I earned while working here. The cashier placed my order then asked the manager if I was still allowed to use it someone said no. I had money so I payed for it but its very petty that because ya don't like me ya don't let me use something I earned while working at Wings. And I would still work there if my mng wasn't a pig.

I ordered Uber eats and did NOT receive my order. JONATHAN, the manager, made sure to send a delivery driver from their location to Otis st in Hartford at NO charge WITH the food which was more than amazing after the week I've had. BOTH of my cars died this week, I was laid off from my job AND I lost someone who was very important and close to me. Something as simple as this, turned my whole outlook on life this past week around and I'm grateful to have had dealt with him tonight. Not too many people genuinely care about other people and his kind gesture genuinely brought me to tears. HE deserves a raise/promotion or SOMETHING to show how far good customer service can go. I appreciate you Jonathan!

This is a great place to go to get great wings and beer. They usually have a number of local breweries and tap which is awesome.

Overall awesome place had the boneless wings(sold by weight not by piece , made fresh not frozen,) the DC 10 has a good amount of pieces, fries and a can of soda. $15 bucks was reasonable, food was good - now the wait is 15 minutes, it looks like they do good volume, so theres a reason why people who complain about delivery - i saw the driver with a ton of orders, I recommend skipping delivery and calling ahead and picking up. I uploaded a menu as of July 2017.

I tried them for the First time tonight! I thought it would be a great choice but I was wrong! I ordered 1/2 lb of Boneless Wings and all I got for $9.00 was 4 Boneless Wings! I could of went somewhere else and had more food! I even asked the Girl how many Wings come in it before I even ordered and she said 10-12 but all I got was 4 Wings thats it! I won't order again unless they rectify this situation! The Wings were good too so this is just sad! Word of Advice "Don't Lie To Customers!"

Wings are good, wouldn’t recommend the steak fries though. Order online for quicker service. Popular place for college kids, especially on the weekends.

Wings Over West Hartford...Simply amazing. If you're craving chicken.. burgers.. fries.. wraps.. ribs...and you're on park St or park Rd area I recommend WINGS!!! they have many different flavors to choose from and the portion of food you get with the price you pay is outstanding. When it comes to having parties or your favorite team playing on the tv... order wings ahead of time. Promise your family/guests won't be disappointed. The fact that they also deliver at a reasonable amount of time is a great option for customers.

Love the wings. Ribs are pretty good too. And the milk shakes ... those alone are worth a trip.

Very bad service slow delivery service ordered my food at 4:30pm got it at 6:05pm. Will never eat there again

They don’t cook to order. Freshness hit or miss. They go cheap and use less sauce often, leaving wings partially dry and tasteless. Complaints get nowhere even though menu states plenty of sauce. Ordered extra sauce every time just in case. They don’t realize their sauces are the reason they exist. Management tries to cut corners, giving you just the minimum.
